I did replace my OEM clutch plates by EBC clutch plates and springs some years ago. I can not see any difference in practice. The plates work like OEM, the springs were offered as 15% stronger compared with the OEM springs and so they are. Work perfect at cheaper price.

At the risk of being inflammatory, I tested the ones I was sold, they to we're supposed to be stronger and were not. I've used the plates before with success on many other makes of bikes.
Yup. Read the @sleeves and @Torque addict reports. EBC springs are off the table. Thanks to @Neville Lush for measuring the spring rate. Looks like springs from Barnett or Carpenter is the way to go. Contacted Barnett. They said they don't sell the springs by themselves. Only in a clutch kit. Buggers ! I'll try to contact Carpenter.
Do any of you guys happen to have a set of unused Barnett springs laying around ?
