I have decided to go for a custom made radiator.
I really hate stock large and bulky radiator.
Here in Italy they are asking for around 400-500 €.
Is anyone made this work? If yes, photo please.
I was thinking something trapezoidal shape, smaller at the base and larger on top or viceversa....:D

The only one I know of who had a custom radiator made was Hombre. He had his made larger because of the power his bike makes and it also has a built-in intercooler for his supercharger.

I don't know of anyone who has had a radiator made smaller or reshaped for appearance.

If you go smaller, make sure the thing has the same enthalpy drop as the stock unit. A smaller radiator has to exchange the same number of BTU's as the stocker, otherwise the engine will overheat.

Travelguy did a lot or R&D on one he worked on for months.
Took it to the mountains, around town at the lights,
kept a constant check on the temps and it looked real good.
i "think" he made it smaller but thicker to have the same or better surface area.
we were just discussing it the other day on one of the sites.
I believe he said it wasn't feasible, or profitable to mass produce.
In other words, it'd cost more to make than he'd feel justified to charge for it.
I'd like to have one bigger on top like the Triumph Triangle myself.
A lot of possibilities and a real good idea.
good luck.

I think there's a medical procedure available for that...

Yes, it's called 'Gettingalife.':p

I'm so used to talking thermodynamics I forget not everyone has the same grip on the terms. (Thank goodness we were only talking an adiabatic system where entropy was desirable, otherwise it could have been complicated).:D
