If you don't want to mess with a vacuum bottle then try this cruise control from Rostra.

This may be my next project. I'm tired of waiting for Triumph to offer one. Doesn't make sense that they offer a Touring model without a cruise control. That's expected functionality these days.

I guess we would need to get the universal one #250-1223.
Do the rockets have VSS? whatever that is?
I wonder if any one has installed it on a rocket?
Did you see anywhere on the website what the cost is? I did'nt

The speed sensor apparently was an issue but I haven't followed up on it.

I believe that the wireless remote (interference issues) proved to be an obstacle on Mark's install.

Oh boy, Marks last post about the cruise control was in april of 2010.
It would be good to know what became of the speed sensor problem.
This is something I really want to have, and would have happily bought one of Marks units.
Someone with electronic smarts can make some money here building R3 specific CC units.
Don't even need to bother with a remote, just using a hardwired switch would be fine.
