Cheap cruise control

I mean NO disrespect for what I'm about post, so here goes.....
Does anyone else here just have this feeling that even if it does work great, your reluctant to even try it? Its as if I just want/have to spend at least 50 bucks before it can go on my bike! Well I don't have $$$$ growing on trees around here, so I'm gonna give it a shot. If anyone asks me what it is, I'm just gonna say its a O ring off the space shuttle and they cost $50.00 each! Thanks for the cheap cruise control info.
