- 2017 Rocket 3 R modified trike to take wheelchair
At long last the fork conversion has been road tested and apart from getting the new front mudguard painted it is ready to come home. I am also getting the belly pan painted to match the front mudguard.
Paul ( Lumley Engineering ) has second set of forks almost ready. They would require shocks and the trike left with him for about a week.
Its a lovely job and I am delighted. Paul kept to the legal limit on a windey road with some steering damper. Steering is still light but he couldn't induce a head shake even riding over the edge of a manhole or pulling the handlebars. Reckons with my wheelchair on board it might benefit from a sway bar ( anti-roll bar ) . Next project lol
