You say ENTIRE charging system replaced & specifically mention the R/R - but by "entire" are you saying they pulled the engine & installed a new stator?
I'm skeptical the OEM R/R would fail in such short order and problem was either misdiagnosed or improperly installed
1. Was the stator replaced?
2. Whether it was or not do this test -pull the GREY connector off the R/R; set your multimeter to measure resistance & measure between any ONE of the three terminals in the free connector (going back into stator) to engine ground - again from any one pin to engine ground NOT between pins. This reading should be 'open' (infinite resistance)
If you measure 'short' (zero or low ohms) then stator is bad.
