If your thinking what I'm thinking PF that is what I want to do with my bike. Carbon fiber and black everything I can. I hate chrome.

How about black chrome??? Like the R3 badges on your side covers? You may be able to get a bunch of your chrome stuff re-chromed as black chrome. I would think it would be somewhat cheaper since they probably wouldn't have to spend a lot of time polishing it.

You could powder coat stuff also. Eastwood sells tons of powdercoat stuff so you can do it yourself. You single guys could just bake it in the oven , it shouldn't stink too much. Or maybe we could take it over to the kitchen at PF's church and do it there....

This guy had his Rocket for about 2 months, he powder coating most of the chrome black.

How do u powder coat the plastic radiator shroud then bake at 400 degs.

You take an extra fine scotchbrite pad and scuff all the vacuum plated chrome off the shroud, rub it with finishing compound and viola', it's black chrome.
