Guys,
There was a box made and given away 2 years ago at out our annual
Rockets Across America get together.
The infamous JDuke had it there as a gift.
I saw it and instantly wanted one, he said he'd tend to it.
Today, I got it in the mail with a note that said,
"Sorry for the delay".
Excellent and now I get to finish it with my choice of stains and finishes.
Anyway, here's a pic or two of the top for your viewing pleasure.

Oh yea, the box measures 11"X16"X4"

but the letters are RAISED not routed in...

Here you can see the raised letters and actually tell it's a box.

it'll be good for keeping Triumph memorabilia in.

If i remember correctly I think it was Amandas dad who made the boxes and a good job he did.

once I get mine finished I think I'm gonna put green felt inside it.
I'm glad I finally got one too.
They sure look sharp.
Two years is not to long to wait for something you like as much as I like this box,
kinda like the time spent waiting on my exhaust from Sam...
course, it ain't been 2 years since we finalized the idea on paper,
just since the idea was talked about and confirmed,
but only a little while since Sam saw exactly what I want on paper.
so I wait patiently...
I'm sure it'll be just as "right" as the box was,
and I'll be just as excited to get it too.
yea Dave, I believe you're right on Amanda's dad building them.
hope the Dukes are doing good and he's happy with his new ride.
He's a good kid and comes from good stock, hope his dad's ok too.
