Which do you prefer? I’ve gone from shaft, to belt, n back to shaft. 😏 That’s what she said....Sorry, couldn’t resist lol....Anywaaays.....I’ve had very few problems with either....What say you ?...,
 
Interesting timing on your post. I've never had a belt drive, so I can't say I'd prefer it, but I'm replacing the driveshaft in my Roadster tonight.

How many miles on that drive shaft? And, do my eyes deceive or are the splines dry, i.e no lube?
 
Owned all three. Shafts seems to require less maintenance, but stuck with factory gearing. Belts are clean and quiet but if they break at the wrong time a pain, mostly limited to factory gearing. Chains are old school, messy, noisy, but easy to repair and can easily change gearing.
