Has any one used the bar snake? comes in liquid or solid and in goes in your handle bars .
I just complain on the high way my mirrors vibrate and I was told if I use this product it will take out vibration in my hadle bars and my mirrors will not vibrate.
I would like to know if any captans have used this product and if so do you have step by step pictures so I could attempt to do it my self?

I've a flat mirror on one side and a convex on the other. The flat mirror image vibrates while the other doesn't. As for the numbing vibration for which the bar snake is intended to dampen, I see no reason for it nor would I expect it to eliminate mirror vibration. I've been wrong before. Go for it, and I'm ready to stand corrected.

Thanks you guys for the response, but I could let go of my handle bars and she will still drive straight. And when I had the original mirrors on that looked like bugs eyes they seem to be fine up to 85, but since I swithced to these custom mirrors they look nice but at 50 they start to vibrate and at 85 things look destorted:) .
But the guys at the shop told me about the Bar snake that comes solid or a liquid and they seem to think that it will take any vibration out of my handle bars and make them solid and there for my mirrors will not shake . Its only $39.95 but I need to take off my handle bars to do it and was hopeing some one has done it and has some step by pictures so I could put it back together. Well maybe I'll just spend the 101.75 for labor it might be worth it:)

My rocket is in the shop right know getting my fog lights put on under my radiator and putting on Kuryakyn grips and I want to go on a few more rides . So I' going to try to do this my self so I got the winter to try to put it all back together or maybe my friend wingandaprayer will come over for a few beers and help me:)

I mounted my fog/driving lights under the radiator also and really like them there, it lights up the road very well.

........when they aren't loose.........:D

Ya never know who is watching..and listening at a rally.

What I would suggest...to everyone, is to fill your bars with lead shot or BB's. Does the same thing as that snake for a lot less.. Don't fill them full, just about half full and ride the bike. If the bars shake, add a bit more. It's all about dampening the harmonic resonance. Sort of like a tuning fork.
