I really like to see others being blest. Today I got a text from my son. He was out archery deer hunting last night and sent me a picture this morning. I want to share his success with you and do my own bragging. He is a pretty good hunter. Meanwhile I didn't have as much success moose hunting. A very good hunt, just no moose. Weather was a little warm for mooses but the last morning had a cow playing nearby, all we had were bull tags. Still a very good hunt

That's right. Plenty of sausage, stews and a few steaks there. Cheap meat is 2 to 5$ a pound these days.

Nice hard work though. I just go for the black deer now much better flavor, hanging weight is usually around 1500 lbs so. I only have to deal with it ever other year.. No bow just a captured bolt. Had a couple over the years clue in so I switched to the 50AE as it is non discretionary

Glad the boy had a good time especially putting a smile on your face.
