Yup Paul the old girl is gone to a new owner. Kinda hated to see her go. Went up for a 80 mile romp on the parkway with the Vstrom and got over it pretty quickly. Steady 50 to 60 mph and only had to use the brakes once to scrub off a little speed in a corner. It was the right decision to go to a lighter bike.

That Vstrom really is an amazingly entertaining motorcycle to ride. It's light, the suspension soaks up bumps that would kick you a foot off the seat on other bikes. The handling is just nuts.

Chris and his wife are happy. I'm happy. Laurel and I got a long weekend in Maggie Valley. The weather guessers blew it on the topical storm forecast. The sky is starting to clear and we don't have to leave until tomorrow.

Not a whole lot not to like about that!

I'v ridden that. It's nice. I have the Magna. It looks good and was very cheap. Starts easy after weeks resting.
