Seat removal on the Rocket seems to be a popular forum subject, but I can't seem to find an answer to my specific problem.
I just bought a 2012 Roadster about a week ago. The seat is in 2 parts, the main rider seat and a small passenger 'pad' on the rear fender. The main seat I was able to get off, but the passenger pad removal eludes me. I've pried it up as much as I dare from every angle and cannot find anything that looks like a latch or a pull cord. How do I get this thing off?
Second: In Michigan I'm supposed to carry my registration and proof of insurance cards with me at all times. I usually keep these documents in my vehicles, but without shelling out for saddle bags I can't find a place to put these things. That's the primary reason I'm trying to get this rear seat pad off - maybe I can stash them under that. Is there another place I haven't found yet?
