2016 Rocket
Had an itch for a new bike, looked around, decided I still love the Rockert, decided to make it more stealth and sporty, had an appointment with painter and powdercoater, cancelled the appt., and decided to pick up a newer blacked out Rocket..without a fairing and one up seating.

2011, matte black, with 15,xxx miles, TORs, corbin fairing, brand new corbin seat w backrests, wireless ignition, crash bars, highway pegs, Rivco risers.

Just had the seat custom made for the bike at the Corbin factory in Hollister two weeks ago. Cost was $1180. Bike runs great. Paint on the tank and fenders all good. Chrome looks good (even though I'm sick of chrome). Paint on the fairing has some rock chips. If I kept the bike and decided to stay with same color scheme, I'd only paint the fairing. All other body parts look good.

Been going back and forth on what to do. Keep and customize, get a different bike, get a new Rocket and start fresh. My loss is someones gain.

$8500
Sacramento, California

Nice bike but you should definitely throw in a few bottles of leather/vinyl dye for that seat.
Do you still have the stock seat?

I would advertise it without the Corbin seat and sell that separately as I would expect it really detracts from the appearance for most people. I realize taste is subjective but you would get more back for your seat selling it separately and the bike would sell a lot easier as well in my opinion.

Anyone who really wanted that Corbin would happily pay a reasonable amount and I expect most would re-dye it unless they had a bike color it suits.

I realize opinions are like as$holes, everyone has one, but you could easily do a quick survey on the forum here.

Youre right on opinions. I actually love the seat color! In person, looks sweet fwith the black trim and wouldn't try to dye it myself..rather have corbin just recover it.
I also have the original seat and luggage rack.

Thanks for the input though.

Nice motor and fair price with all the extras.
Good fortune on your sale.

Another option: I'll pull the brown seat and replace with seat that is in pic & remove the fairing.

The bike needs tires. At $8500, I will do it, but for $7,000 you get it as is.

$7,000

****, that is a good-looking bike. I didn't mind the brown seats but the new pic you loaded looks awesome.
I'm spending a whole lot of money to restore my damaged 2005 when I could've put that money toward your bike.
Too late for me but anyone looking for a rocket would be an idiot to not buy your bike with your adjusted price.
Good luck with it.

That would be the bike to buy - then you could part out your rocket and have some $ left over.....

I know!!
Had this come up about three days ago I would've been able to do that. I've already gone too far down the parts hole to turn back now.

Wow great Corbin Solo seat with stock OEM pillion by the look of it and a serious bargain price, wish I was in the US.

Thanks gents, I'm gonna try to be patient (Not my strong suit) and give forum members first dibs. Then, if no interest, I'll post up on craigslist.
