2005 r3 oil change!

I have an 05, must be an early one because their is only one 8mm plug up front with an o-ring and a washer on it, do i need to remove the front and rear plugs which are totally different because they come out from the side of the pan like housing? mine is like a jigsaw puzzle and nothing like the simple removal of the three 8mm plugs, any assistance will help lots "Thanks and be safe!

You should have 3 Drain plugs. Front and back and one halfway along motor.

@geno I answer your post on the other thread which has the drawing of you pan in post #2
In short you have thee the two front and back. And the long tank one underneath. You have the 04 early 05 sump pan that most have never seen.

I'm going to remove every possible plug, under and along the side, they certainly did not make it easy; must be a special bike "lol" anyhow thanks for your help and "Be Safe!
