hello all,
just bought my bike a couple weeks ago. loving every minute of seat time but have noticed what I believe to a an engine knock when decelerating in gear. pull in the clutch, sound is gone. oil level is good.
I have a lot of experience with car engines and a sound like that traditionally meant main bearing issues.
14k on the bike, runs terrific (except erratic idle).
am taking it to it's first ever service at the triumph dealership this Saturday.
searched these forums but did not find this symptom described.
any thoughts or advice are very welcome.
