Use the Hella DIN socket for Optimate?

Hi All My very first question, so be gentle! I have 2020 Rocket 3 R. It has the Hella DIN socket up near the clocks/handlebars. Can anyone tell me, can this socket be used to put the bike on 'trickle charge' with an Optimate/Oxford Oximiser? Cheers, Rat
