Rev limiter vs top speed limiter

Speedo is not numbered at 240+ The bike did gps and methyl alcohol on a German 'Autobahn'. V rated stock tyres with right tyre pressure (.) have some 'leeway' and won't explode when you hit once a while a 240 km/h. Assembling better quality tyres could be an saver option instead some tries and...

Testing the bike on german highway the gps(Tomtom) says 268kph at 6500 tacho rpm. 7000rpm tacho could be possible but got some issue with the alcohol (100%) injectionsystem. Btw, my...

First Bad News for new Rocket: oil leaks

Weird. You did buy a bike with Ecu incl. code. When Triumph is removing the code before shipping it should be their problem and the customer should not pay extra for putting the code back into the Ecu.So, if I want to buy a crated one and assembling the bike by myself, I should to pay for the...

    REAR WHEEL HP

Mmm, easier ? You have to remove the cams first in order removing the buckets with the shims underneath.

    REAR WHEEL HP

ehhh, yes, larger valves are certainly needing (bored) larger seats. I think, but thats only my opinion, that there is some difference between buckets and seats. :p My question was/ still is : What's the reason/necessity of installing larger diameter shim underneath buckets too?
