    ECU is not responding

Does your VIN fall within the TuneEcu recognized numbers? There was a recent post by Penner that some of the '23 models may not be covered yet. But on mine I have to push it out of the metal shop for everything to work right.

Why are TuneECU maps country specific?

I thought it just might be some way for Penner to keep track of where the downloads were going. For things like billing and tracking. It does seem like a tune is a tune and the ECU compensates for differences in fuel and such. Have those meds kicked in yet? 💊

    GT Map?

The nanny map. Like we can't control ourselves with that much power.:laugh::laugh::laugh::banghead::cool:

What to do when a tune fails to load and your ECU stops working

Thanks for the tip. One thing I have learned using TuneECU is to update all the apps before connecting to the ecu and to not panic if it acts funny. Great tool it is.

    Unable to register bike

I don't believe you have to connect to just update the app. Seems like it took a day or so until the email address was recognized. Maybe it just updates once a day depending on your time zone when you get in.

    Unable to register bike

Yeah. Then update app on your phone.

    New TuneECU user question

I don't want to know how the abs acts. I hate abs on anything. The abs motor is out on my f150 right now. $600 if I want to pay piper, so I'll just ignore the light since it's just my farm truck never leaves the farm. I've replaced wheel sensors on it before now the whole modulator controller is...

    New TuneECU user question

I took off the seat and secured all the wire looms and tightened up all of the connectors I could find. Two rides and not a single alarm. I'll ride it a bit more aggressively next time to see if anything shows up. I hate chasing electrical gremlins but it is rewarding when you find one.

    New TuneECU user question

I got the key fob alarms initially but not after tightening up my battery terminals. They were barely hand tight from the stealership and already corroded and arcing signs on a brand new $20K scoot. After cleaning up that mess and tightening them with di-electric grease I have not had the key...

    New TuneECU user question

Yes sir. You too. I don't fakebook so that is out. I guess it's time to get a tire machine and do that too. I hate all that plastic crap on the new one. I bet it's all made in china too. They can get the look but the quality and longevity are not there. I'll keep trying to fix it. Thanks for the...

    New TuneECU user question

After I saw the dealership charging $139 per hour I don't mind buying a few tools to service my bike. Lord knows they did little before it left the shop. I have a new quest for new codes it's throwing. Be happy you don't have one of these new ones.

    New TuneECU user question

Calm down, I'm still learning this myself. Maybe you can explain the need for DealerTool and why you use them both. I'm glad it's working for you and I might go that route. The DealerTool interface just seems kind of 1990's and "heard that" the only way to connect with the new ecu was...

    New TuneECU user question

I used the cables on Power Commanders and didn't like it. Bluetooth is so much easier and quicker. Anyways, I just reset the service wrench to a more realistic 5000 miles interval. Other than cutting into their revenue nothing has changed. I really doubt they can even see who resets the wrench...

    New TuneECU user question

I have gone through and got everything registered, updated, and added my bike to the registry. That seems right. It seems to connect and see everything with the OBDLink MX+ device and my android phone. My confusion is when attempting to resetting the SIA it allows the mileage and date options...
