The Paul Bryant Experience (Viking Exhaust)

Thank you Sioux Falls Rocket. Yea' it was pretty demoralizing. Very few of my systems are the same, everyone is an individual build and is different from the last one, truely one off's. It's no problem to build a system like this, but when I have to do the same thing twice ... it's challengeing...

    Brake upgrades

The Roadster has the "upgraded" (bigger bore) master cylinder, if you can find one this does bring the hydraulic ratio correct. When I fitted the six pot calipers to my Rocket this also improved the ratio as the over all piston area is less than the stock 4 pot units, this has the same effect as...

I think this US$1230 is for one disc and one caliper. 😳

    Brake upgrades

As mentioned, i have fitted the Pretech 6 pot Calipers on the front, I'm not sure if these are still available. The Beringer ones are available and a lot nicer looking unit. The six pots on the front made a significant difference. I've also set up 6 pot on the rear as well running on EBC cast...

    Belly Pan install

Well for me, I kept looking at these Belly Pans but couldn't make up my mind if I wanted one or not. Then I got the Corbin seat and straight away thought yes I need the belly pan styling wise. As to does it actually make any difference, probably not, not that I could tell anyway.

Question on what are you using to clean the **** rims!

I've had my rear wheel polished (yet to do the front one) I rub it over with Auto Sol every couple of months or so, but it's only a five minute job and comes up real nice.

Take the word "tune" out of this statement and that is how much effect it will have.

    rocket III new pipes

I've seen this numerous times .... "Buy my exhaust, it'll go faster, no need for any of that fang dangled tuning carry on, or any other mods ... just give me your money !" People just want to sell something, if your bike runs lean afterwards .... Well, that's your problem. Wrong ! I ALWAYS...

    Viking vs. Dave Platt crossover

So are we talking about a free flow cross over pipe like this, my Version 2 one, 1¾" O.D. .... Or my twin muffler slip on kit ? Note, decent bends.

    Can I fit Roadster 300, 801 and 802 exhausts to a 2006 Classic

I would say that you probably would to suit the Roadster set up.

    New Exhaust

As Smitty said, the bike was running with (I assume) the stock tune, which as we know is lean to start with, then even leaner with a free flow Exhaust system. And, Next step is a proper dyno tune by Nels so I can actually ride this thing.

Best tune options for Ramair and outlaw shorty exhaust

I run the PCV&AT (Auto Tune) with a good base map, as suggested in the ECU my bike runs perfect all the time, summer, winter etc. A Dyno tune by a competent Tuner (not Dyno operator) is by far the best solution.

    Done with the search.

Yep, I love my Rocket. I was out on a Poker Run Saturday, about 120 bikes, ten were Triumphs, two other Rockets. Those darn Harleys .... I keep passing blocks of about 10 of them, almost a waste of time as I'd just get past one lot, settle down to cruise again, then came upon the next lot of...
