    2011 Models...

That would be my guess. Can the previous owner give you any info on it ?

    Something changed

Put your RamAir back on and get a dyno tune if possible. If not, there are some tunes you can download from TuneECU. The 12 minute tune does not change the tune to adapt to intake and exhaust changes.

    Clutch upgrade

The Carpenter springs are about 10 pounds or so stronger than the Barnetts. I have them and they work well in my NLR/Viking 200 HP Rocket.

    The aftermath

It was a great event turned into a gut wrenching event. Surreal and you gasp and can't comprehend the moment. I also cursed. Not for me, but for all the hard work Rob put into preparing Mufasa and all the guts JustDad has to ride so fast on the salt flats. Heart break for all of us on the...

2017 R3R LMS pipe, Ramair, Power commander tune

Where do you live ? You will be glad you spent the money on a real dyno tune. You can actually get great results without the PC.

thinking of changing from my drop in k&N to...

If you are going to keep the drop in filter set up under your seat stay with the OEM pleated paper filter. The foam and gauze filters just let in more dirt with no performance increases.

    Enlisting Mufasa for Salt Duty

Is it fair to assume the 60 mm is to big and 59 mm is not available ?

Nice up-date Rob. I think the belly pan is a good idea.

    replacing rear shocks

Don't waste your money on the 412 series. The best progressive is the 444. Although the 430 series is a good compromise. But DEFINITELY do not buy the 412. You will be very disappointed.

Did you get a Radial and V rated ?

    Noob tire size question

What Dunlop did you buy for the front ??

    Noob tire size question

Not that I've heard of. The only thing is the ABS needs to be kept withing a certain percentage of the rotational difference. I think these size differences such as the Bridgstone 55 rear and any 75 front are ok within that spec. @1olbull can confirm.

    Noob tire size question

Good tire choice. Been using the Cobra on my 2006 ( I purchased new) since the stock Metzlers wore out. That did not take too long. The Cobras will enhance your handling and ride quality. Mine tend to last over 10,000 miles on rear and upwards of 12/14 up front. The sizes you list are the...

Baby got a new pair of shoes (tires)

I'm skeptical. Don't trust them on lane lines, crosswalk lines or wet roads.

Take it to Nels at 2 Wheel Dyno Works in Kirkland for a proper dyno tune.

Will you be testing and data logging at altitudes in your area between 4500' and 7500' ?

    Enlisting Mufasa for Salt Duty

I'm concerned about 2 things. The air intake filter does it have Vstacks inside ? Are you saying you are not happy with the local dyno shop we have used so many times ?

    Metzeler ME888

Avon Cobra Chrome gives great handling, traction and tire life. Love mine. Been on Avon Cobra since the first tire change. Over 40,000 miles ago.

    Enlisting Mufasa for Salt Duty

Neville how good is the salt there? Bonneville has become unreliable with very thin salt crust. Some years there is barely an inch on top of the mud. And of course this year the salt flats became a lake. Even when the summer is dry the salt can still be wet. Most days I have been out there...

    Enlisting Mufasa for Salt Duty

@Claviger I think @Justdad can probably answer these questions as we have taken several size and type of motorcycles to the salt. We took carborated and EFI bikes.
