    As there are quite a few Rockets here in NZ, I don't get asked those sort of questions. What I often get asked tho' is "how fast does it go" My response is "Faster than me" That gets some looks !

    From Aratiatia we headed further North from Taupo then hooked a left and headed west back to Whakamaru Dam. When we first turned into this Road there was a big sign that said. 80 KPH. HEADLIGHTS ON. KEEP LEFT Interesting I thought, very good Road surface, flat, good chip, wide ! Logging Truck...

    An awesome day out with the Triumph Riders Waikato. Down to Taupo and back up again. 380 Km's door to door for me. Hamilton Saturday 9.00 AM. We head South to Te Awamutu to Trevor Hall M/C's Trevor has lots of nice bikes here, a Vincent Engine in a Norton Feather Bed chassis for example...

    That's about the speeds we (Triumph Riders Club, Waikato) ride at, just a good cruising speed with the odd blast up to higher speeds (140 MPH :oops:) Yes, it looks cool there, temps here are around 20° C so nice riding weather. We did about 300Km's, 180 Miles Sunday just gone.

    I went back to the workshop after watching your video Mr Bill and thought "that was really great" seeing you and your Buddies like this. We all sit here and type and talk etc, but to see the real life people behind the names was awesome. :cool:

    Yes it was bare feet :oops::oops::oops: on a gravel road, with no helmet. '73 Combat Commando, 60 MPH, 2nd gear. Young, 17 years old, not been hurt .... yet ! Oh, and hair ! :roll::roll::roll:
