    My buddy has a Ducati Diavel and we are pretty close on flat ground and downhill. Uphill the Rocket pulls away. I have passed way more sports bikes than have passed me. I cant keep up with a very good rider on a very good sports bike however.

    My 2020 Rocket will out maneuver and out stop any other cruiser I have ridden with and I have ridden with a lot of folks. Have scraped both pegs btw.

    Have you ever felt the need for steering dampers on the Rocket 3?

    I pegged the throttle at the apex of a fairly sharp curve once and it started to do the wobble but stopped the instant I backed off of the throttle. I dont know if it was the dreaded death wobble or just the front getting a bit light on the curve. Nothing before or since.

    I guess all asses are not the same. The stock seat for me is the most comfortable one I have sat on. Way more comfortable than my 15 Touring. In fact just last weekend we did 1100 miles in 24 hours. I for sure had aches and pains but my tookus did ok. Just under 40,000 miles on the GT now...

    Tightened mine a bit past spec about 10,000 miles ago. No issue since. But even if you dont do that fix the minuscule leak you are left with is in my opinion no reason at all not to do your trip.

    I talked to my dealer again and he said that the problem is that the transmission cover needs to be resealed and that it was a two step process and that is why it will take some time for the repair. That is all the information he could give me. I am going to call Triumph Monday myself and see...

    I will try to get that loaner. Yea the heat is intense in the summer but that just means we get up early and head up to the mountains and the cool pines. I can be at 9000+ feet in 1-1/2 hours and over 10000 in about 3 hours.
