    Giving up

I have the same bike and completely understand your well stated frustration and decision. I have, however, had better luck. I bought mine a few years ago with 23K on the odometer and now have added approx. 8000 miles to get to the 31K I now have on it. The only big pain in the butt was the...

    2020 GT...5500 miles...falling apart.

This thread reminds me of the joke about Harleys: "One of the good things about owning a Harley is that the odds are good you can find replacement parts for your bike in any roadside ditch.";):)

I wouldn't say this common but certainly an issue

Yesterday, while tightening valve cover bolts, the Allen head socket fell off the end of my extension. After searching for several minutes I figured it fell into that black hole behind the oil tank. It took some bending, gymnastics and cursing but I finally got it out with my telescoping...

    Cam cover gasket tear

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Have 30,000 miles plus on my '06 Classic with no leaks and original gasket....knock on wood. Is that unusual? Am I due soon for a new gasket? If so, I will do as you say......unless I want to be beaten by you like a drum. :);)

    The old Moly 60 problem

I have a jar of Loctite Moly Paste(LB 8012) on the shelf waiting for the day I need to replace the rear tire and do the final drive lube. Seems to me I got the recommendation for it on this forum. You might do a search for it on the forum(s) to get details about it......might be an alternative...

    A new theory

    Found the problem

If you already have a fuse block gizmo connected to your battery....great! If not then I highly recommend attaching a 4 to 6 position fuse block to your battery and then using it for attaching to your accessories like an air horn. Attaching the air horn wiring diagram, use the one on the right...

    Found the problem

Hope you don't mind if I 'horn' in with how I did my install. I mounted mine to the bottom leg of my right side engine guard using a hose clamp with a rubber cushion(Home Depot plumbing department). To me it looks like it belongs there and blends in because it is black and silver in color...

    Where to get electrical connector

Yes, but I'm a sucker for hope.....even blatant false hope when it comes to avoiding potential nightmare scenarios of the Rocket kind. I do have one positive thing in my favor.....I took your advice about replacing the rec/reg with the Suzuki item.......please don't tell me that is...

    No Turn signals

Okay Ken, time to crank up those powerful/old-timer's brain cells. A few minutes ago, with a printout of your troubleshooting advice in hand I started testing. The turn signals flashed at all four corners whether I am coming from or going to the bike, as designed. Now, today, the turn...
