    Bond...um, no thanks!

Triumph is releasing a James Bond version of the bikes used in the latest Bond movie. Can't see myself owning a 007 labelled bike. Unless it had a rocket launcher and grapping hook...

    ATGATT....Just tested mine

So yesterday I jump on the Vespa to give it a run and fetch some groceries. My wife and I had just returned from a breakfast run on the GS. so I was still geared up. Woman fails to yield, hell, she didn’t even slow down, and takes me out as I’m almost through the roundabout. Vespa is beat up...

    Piaggio scooters

Thought I’d put it out there, just to see if there are any captains who also own any Piaggio scooters. I’ve just got mine (PX150) back on the road, all 8 hp of two stroke power. 150cc of oil burning madness. 0-80km/h in a week or so. As long as it’s after Wednesday!

    Anyone use Scenic?

Planning a trip with the missus at the end of the year and have been playing around with an App called Scenic. Designed for motorcyclists and looks to be quite good. Different routing options, I like the curvy option but then again, doesn’t take long to hit the curves here in Vic!

    Rocket to Rugged

So, I've made a deal with my long standing dealer to trade my Rocket for a 2013 R1200GS. As much as I enjoyed the power on tap, the GS suits what I want now in a motorcycle. So now I''l have two of them but I have some customizing plans for the old one. I think I may stick around on this forum...

    Alternative protective gear

Anyone try the Knox range? I like their armoured shirt that can be worn as primary means of protection, including abrasion resistance. Gives a lot more flexibility with regards to what shirt/jacket you can wear depending on the season. They seem to have an online shop in the major parts of the...

    Turnout exhaust

So, after my beautiful Viking exhaust was damaged in my recent spill...I've been looking at options. I really like the turnout design but couldn't find one except the Dave Platt shotguns. For my taste they still stick out too far. In order to get back on the road whilst I weigh my options, I...

    **Found** Engine bars wanted

Looking for some engine bars...after my little road rash incident, I’m wondering if anyone has a set? Not really keen to pay over $400 for a new set.

    Just a little off

cage driver slams on her brakes right in front of me...and then so do I and the front well, hangs a right and I’m on the road. I’m surprised as to how little damage to the bike...the cheap highway pegs took the brunt. But my right hand mirror stem is pretty scraped and the beautiful @Paulbryant...

    Bought an old Beamer

Go pick up a 25 year old GS tomorrow. The rocket looked lonely in the garage...plus I need something a bit more nimble to commute. Looking forward to doing a few mods on the old girl. Anyone else have one?

    Moto Show Melbourne

Off to the Melbourne leg of the Moto Show this morning. Only comes along every other year. Unfortunately, we’re experience a really bad winter storm at the end of spring, so riding in will be a no-no. Hoping there will be news of the new Rocket at the Triumph stand..

    Cargo Pants

I bought a pair of these on ebay...they seem to be really good quality but unfortunately their sizing is off by about two sizes. I ordered a 46, which is my usual size, but I estimate its about a 42. The quality seems to be good. Summer pants. These are the grey ones. I have already ordered the...
