I have a 2012 R3R. My rear brake failed catastrophically and I had to do a low speed lay down. So once the brake is fixed it's going to be a fire sale. In not riding it again.
can't get a buyer with brakes, doubt I'll get a buyer without them.
Hope it works out for you.
Thanks. I know better than to mess with perfection. The bike runs great and looks great. I always get compliments.
I’m telling everyone on the board. My first online offer was $3500.
I just wanted to feel it out and wow! What a surprise.
Yes you are right. I will be looking at other options. I really want to keep it, and today is going to be our first warm weather day, 85 degrees! No way will I not be on it.
Check this out.
I went online to get an idea of what to expect. An online buyer offer d $3500!

But alas, it must go. Parts of my body that hold it up have weakened to where I cannot keep it upright if I end up in a position where I lose balance. Say, a car stops short in a low speed turn and...
Hi everyone.
I have the Roadster that is slowly morphing to to the touring version.
I’ve added a passenger back rest and saddle bags, the bags were done in haste.
Once they were installed I saw R3s with hard bags. Now I want some.
Any ideas on getting started?
Thanks
Looks like you were very lucky. This is always a fear, being hit back there.
Hope you are injury free and looking at your bike, it can be fixed. Bolt in here, bolt in there and boom, you're on the road. Good luck with that.
I was wondering about the feel of the bike with stock bars and highway pegs. Seemes like they might be uncomfortable, the bend at that waist, and knees.
Any thought there.
