    broken exhaust cam

just finished tuning my 05 151 lb ft and 145 hp down for a while with clutch issues, the roller bearing update is every thing! Also stator was out with a grounded leg. While motor was out shimmed valves, wrapped headers, added a 3 to 1 pipe and tuned to 13.2-15.3 AFR throughout rpm range. 2 dyno...

    Clutch Failure

had all of the same problems with my 05. two local dealers don't know anything about the upgrades in 06 . they sold me the same failed parts twice. @ 10 k the shift actuator bolt fell out through the trans. ate a wafer bearing and lifter piece right after that. burned up new clutch and stator at...

    Bad Voltage Regulator ...OR?

Voltage regulator tested bad, replaced, still no charge. New full battery, the service manual tells how to check ACV output which proved to be in spec, BUT.., a grounded stator will show good ACV output until loaded. As soon as you are connected and running you are loading the stator. Thus dim...

    Stator blown at 23K?

Stator will show good AC output 15VAC at idle 40VAC@2500 on a meter even though it is internally grounded. The procedures outlined in the service manual never test for grounded stator which blows regulator diodes. Do I REALLY need to pull the motor again to replace that POS ?

I live in the same city as MMI. Dealers hire kids from school cuz they are cheap. They don't know what a TR3 is.

    Oil pump drive gear,

2005 R3. doing the upgrade kit in the trans. Noticed on page 4.11 in the service manual a guide for the oil pump drive chain. I don't have that nor can I find any mention of it. The chain is very slack , ( 18000 miles). Can' find it in any parts lists. Also my issue of difficult first gear...

Sporadic High Revs - Restart Solves Problem Until The Next Time

My three month old PC5 and auto tune set up gave me the same high idle symptom. only once did it actually throw a code after limping home. Removed all of Dynojet's products, used tune ECU to dial in on the Dyno. Runs flawlessly. Problem is I sell those tune products every day.
