    Free MOTOW Roadside Assistance

I think that everyone who rides out of their local area should get roadside assistance. Then one simply callls an 800 number when stranded, crashed or disabled by the side of the road. Usually a truck arrives within an hour to rescue or retrieve the bike and riders after a mishap, running out of...

    Fix For Bad CD's

Some of us have an aerosol can of Honda Polish around the garage. It is a great fix for DVD's and CD's that skip or will not play. Give the disc a spritz and clean it off with a soft paper towel. This works every time for me.

New Risers But Now No Clutch

I installed Rivco risers today. It was a pain but I got all the cables rerouted behind the triple tree. The strange thing is that the clutch is screwed up now. The clutch lever is loose and floppy. The pivot on the side of the engine is easy to turn with fingers where as the tension was so stiff...

New Risers But Now No Clutch

I put Rivco risers on today. It went OK, a real pain in the ass in my opinion, but - now I have no clutch. I rettached the clutch cable and silver pivot on the side of the engine. I reattached the other end of the cable to the clutch lever on the bars. But now the clutch lever is loose and...

    I Am Happy Today

I made a delivery in town today and most every station had gas at $1.86 a gallon. That looks like old time prices by today's standards. I hope this holds through the summer and I will burn up more than my fair share of gas. $1.86 a gallon is the equivalent of 25 cents a gallon back when I was...

    Favorite Leather Jacket

I am shopping for a new leather jacket, something with shoulder armor. I looked at a couple nice ones; Joe Rocket and Triumph Rocket III. The Tourmaster/Cortech Classic looks nice while viewing online. Does anyone have a favorite in the $200-$300 price range? A favorite vendor? Thanks.

    Physics 101

30 MPH to 0 MPH in six inches hurts. Bikes like the Rocket 3 don't mind but 52 year old human bodies do. Broken rib and collarbone with a dinner plate sized bruise. Sailed over the bars and took off the windshield in the processs. Loose gravel left on a tight turn, thanks to the Ingham...

    Favorite Saddle Bags

What are your favorite saddle bags for the Rocket? I can't decide what to get. I do need something large. Being waterproof and locking are a big plus, too.

    Sears Bike Lift

Does anyone use the $89 Sears bike lift on their Rocket? I am wondering if it works as well as it does on a VTX.

    License Plate Relocation

I took a close look at the Rivco license plate relocation kit and the plate mount on my bike. I could not see why I could not just cut off one inch from the bottom of the stock plate bracket and achieve the same result. I want the stock turn signal stalks to remain as warnings not to stab my...
