  1. progressive fork springs

Anyone out there installed these? Hard to imagine they would 'dive' less than standard, but what do I know! Testimonials?
  2. Slow throttle response

I had a slow idle return (not as much as 20 seconds though) after I had the dealer talked into trying to lower my idle from about 850 to 750. He could only get it to about 800 or it " ran crappy" per the mechanic. As soon as I took off I got the slow response and went back in the next week to...
  3. lowering idle speed

No problem with lumpy idle or dying issues. My idle sounds to fast for my liking and tach reads about 900-950 after about 60 seconds of idling. At 1st service tech went the extra mile and synched the throttle bodies, may have increased idle then (about 6 months ago). Local dealer says...
  4. R3 tunes revisited

I know this has been rehashed to death, but hearing about the 20055 tune from the factory and tune-boy has gotten me wondering if I chose the right one for my bike. Have the 06 classic with Tors and cat replacement from Triumph. Had the 20054 put in which sounded like the right one at the...
  5. Hagon Nitros comp to Progressive 440s

The Hagons aren't Progressive.........................progressively wound that is! Have had both, 440's harder to adjust (twist). Hagons had stainless steel springs vs chrome. They had one rep in the states, his personality irritated me. Well my comparison is down to minutia, so adios.
  6. new r3 horn question

Just ordered the horn. Read comments from a couple of those that bought them. Questions: Does the chrome cover still fit back on? When you trim the plastic piece, is it the entire horn piece you trim or just the front or back? (I'm assuming it's plastic) More description would be appreciated!
  7. New radiator?

I was following old posts (dec., feb.) where one of our own was coming up with a billet radiator that was taller, narrower and thicker. He was predicting it would be ready in about 2 weeks, etc. Did he ever come out with it?!
  8. rivco cat bypass?

Dave, Did you have any problem installing your silencers to the factory bypass - especially the left side one? Mine was a bear to line up the silencer to the bolt holes on the plate that it mounts to.
  9. Aftermarket woes

Boy am I getting tired of being under my bike! Cat repl. and TORS was a bit loud for me and I've previously described the weird (to me) late 'burbling and popping' which shows up just below 2k rpm. With my 01 Moto Guzzi I'd get this strong growl as soon as I let off on the throttle...
  10. Anyone have problems installing cat replacement from Triumph

My main problem was getting my last pipe on - left side one. The bolt holes wouldn't line up and I had to loosen the whole shebang so I could pull left side cat repl. pipe back further. Now I should clarify that I bought the replacement used from one of our members (could he have bent a...
