  4. Got my recall notice in the post today.....

    Got my recall notice yesterday, but had the 386 "fix" done two weeks ago. My Rocket has never stalled on me--especially now after the 386 fix--it idles at 3500-4000rpm. Dealer is really scratching his head:mad:

    Can anyone tell me how removing the secondary plates affects gas mileage. I get pretty bad mileage right now (like 25 mpg! when I'm going downhill) and don't need it to gwet worse.....

    Only six weeks downtime for blowing a timing chain?? Now I'm really feeling Screwed by Triumph/the dealer--my Rocket has been down since the middle of August since it won't run properly at steady throttle. Now it runs at steady throttle but idles at 3,000 rpm.....:mad:

    How in the world is anyone getting over 30 miles to the gallon? I have 21,000 miles on my RIII and the best I have ever gotten is 25 miles to the gallon. And that isn't due to my "rocket right wrist" since I have been getting 9,000 miles out of a rear tire!!!:confused:
