    I wonder if you could have backed it up with a mechanical connection. Like grinding 2 slots on either side of the "nut" with the thinnest Dremel wheel you could find. Then squeezing the sheet metal into the slots with a big pair of pliers or clamp.

    Interesting experiment. Seems like the SS doesn't have to get all that hot to turn gold. Still might be pushing the limits of the JB weld. Celsius there. So 400-450 F These things are cheap as chips. Amazon.com

    I think @Penner said you didn't need premium fuel with his tune. So, I would assume from that, that you wouldn't need it stock either. I have a BT moto tune, and I'm not sure if there is a timing advance or not with it. I've been using premium. Havent had any problems with it stalling or anything.

    I was looking at something similar. Not waterproof, but easy to get in to. I would probably just go on a 3 or 4 day trip. So fairly easy to plan for nice weather. And I think there's a rain cover. Amazon.com

    Doesnt one of the sensors check the exhaust glasses after the cat? to see that its functioning? if you removed the cat, it might be a problem? Another reason I bought a non storm '24.

    I cut them with a Dremel. And epoxied them back together. If you look at the round part that goes on the bar end, you see the seam/cut. I sanded it round to try to hide it in the curve. They did flop around since there's no attachment at the other end. I epoxied a strip of aluminum in the valley...

    They have a couple of different ones. Slightly different than the other. I saw them without the emblem too. ...Are yours convex at all? I wish there was a little bigger field of vision. Probably get used to it though.

    Morning project done. Plenty left on OEM rear pads. But I like the way the HH pads bite.

    They are for a Ducati. But I made them work. Hand Guards in 100% Carbon Fiber for Ducati Multistrada V4 I shortened them because they were to far from the levers for me by about an inch. But you could just bolt them up as is if you like.

    Got these today. I went with the diamond ones. Round looked good too, but I have round bar ends on both KTM's.
