    Hi From England.

Welcome from slightly sunnier but a lot colder New England! Enjoy the ride!

    Hello from Canada!

Welcome from Connecticut USA! We don't get enough ride days here. I feel for you guys farther north! I do hope to get up that way sometime with my bike for a long adventure though! Love Canada just haven't been on the bike.

    Decel popping

HansO's modified 20228 MAP in the resources here fixed it for me. It's like a different bike. I love it. Probably only good if you've deleted the Cat and added ramair though.

    Reset Adaptations question

So I turned up the idle some in my new map. It was 960 in the old MAP and 890 in this one. I set it at 920. Still fluctuates but it doesn't drop as low now since its set a little higher so I'm not so worried it might stall. I'm honestly thinking of taking out the stepper and seeing how it...

    Reset Adaptations question

I mean I love fuel injection. It’s much better than pumping the pedal to start your car. It’s just the tuning part I am behind on. Here’s a picture of the throttle table on the new tune. I will have to look and see what it is in the old tune.

    Reset Adaptations question

Never thought I’d miss carb jetting but good grief. My head hurts but I’m grateful for this forum. After a ton of reading from the experts I’ve come to the conclusion that the rough idle is possibly that the O2 is off and the canned map is a little rich in that range. I’ve now read...

    Reset Adaptations question

Just to clarify the O2 sensor is still in the bike. The tune just takes it out of use so it gets constant feedback and doesn’t try to lean out the MAP.

Anyone know what the TPS and ISCV voltages should be at with this tune?

    Reset Adaptations question

Ah thanks. My TPS is at .60 which is perfect according to what I’ve read for my 05. The ISCV reading was .72 or .74. I don’t recall exactly so it sounds like that’s fairly close as well. I’ll have to double check.

Anyone know what this wire connects?

Thanks. Bike runs fine without it. Was just curious if any of the guys who’ve rebuilt their bike several times on here might have known from experience. I didn’t have time to trace it today but I still at some point.

Anyone know what this wire connects?

Apparently not since someone cut it...

    Reset Adaptations question

The instructions I found here said to measure it but maybe there is a way with voltage? Not sure. TPS is voltage set. I included a picture of idle in the tune. At cold start it actually settles down to around 800-900 quickly. Before it gets up to temperature. I might try to unplug the...

    Reset Adaptations question

Worse as it gets hotter or sits longer idling. A few times as I was finishing with letting it reset adaptations it got low then surged up to like 1500 and settled out again. When driving it’s a little variable at a stop light but not bad. I’m almost wondering if it’s a little rich at idle. I...

    Reset Adaptations question

I would see this being useful for stepper motor but not really TPS. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I reset adaptations again today and balanced the throttle bodies as best I could. It was a little tough because the idle is not perfectly steady. They where off by 20-30. No 1 and 2 are right on and 3 is low by 10 but...

Anyone know what this wire connects?

The joys of buying a used bike. Prior owner had the bike pretty much fully sorted. Spent a lot of money at the dealer and another repair shop when he bought it non running from original owner. Someone I think the shop labeled everything which is nice but I found this today and I’m wondering...

    Reset Adaptations question

I did not. Do you mean measuring the voltage of TPS and gap on ICVS? I’ll do a search for the video.

    Reset Adaptations question

TPS were also brand new 2000 miles ago. The upgraded blue ones. I’d be surprised if it went bad already but anything is possible. I don’t think it’s a vacuum leak as that would cause a high idle.

    Reset Adaptations question

Long Story First: I loaded tune 20228 today for my 05 with ram air, Dave Platt cat bypass and TORS exhaust. What a difference it made. The bike runs like a dream now. The throttle is so much smoother and there’s 0 decel pop. The only thing I’ve noticed it my idle seems to drop very low...

For Sale Leatherlyke saddle bags for classic/ roadster.

Certainly just be advised I ended up using the mounting bolts with my new bags. Found a way to work them with some other brackets I had. There is a set of the mounting bolts for sale on eBay right now though.
