Penner tune on a 2023 GT

I don't see the throttles closing in 5th and 6th but you have to remove the speed restriction that's what's closing them down.
Don’t know if you’ve seen this:

Posts 402&403 and previous ones by Treeman, who did Carpenter rebuilding. Apparently the throttle plates close down at 6000 rpm even with the etv set at 100%. At WOT in 4th on the dyno you wouldn’t be at the speed limit, no?

Penner said that the high end fueling is fine with etv=100% and he hasn’t added fuel above 4000 rpm and TP above 41.7%.

Regarding the rev limit, you can’t raise the rev limit above 7400 for the R and GT models and my understanding is that you need the pro version of tuneecu (300 euros) to do it.

As for getting rid of the speed limit, you should be able to go into parameters and uncheck the speed limit box. Not sure if this option is included in the pro version but in the standard version, there should be an “OPT” button next to the speed limit box with which you pay 49 euros and it lets you uncheck the box. The instructions are on tuneecu.fr. These instructions say you download a stock tune in the Tuneecu app and make the change in this tune before uploading to the ecu. It isn’t clear if you can do this on a custom tune like Penner’s which you have stored in your Android device. One would think so but I would consult Alain directly or Tom Tomtom on Facebook.

Regarding the lambda sensor(s), you can remove them and uncheck the O2 sensor box in Tuneecu to suppress error codes. Same with the SAI system. Both of these are unnecessary on a hot rod.

Good evening everyone . I'm new to the group. I own a Rocket 3 R purchased in September 2022. The bike has traveled about 1000 km. I wanted to know if by installing the Penner ECU programming, without modifying the exhaust terminals and therefore leaving the original ones, there will be improvements in power and torque, like the ones I've read in the various posts. thank you all

Yes, you will absolutely feel the difference. I have the same bike with stock exhaust.

Thanks for the reply . so can i leave my original exhausts and load the penner map? where will i find benefits? more acceleration? a prompt response at low revs ? I'm looking for more acceleration and torque in 1,2,3 gears. what did you find with the Penner map?

I do not have a Windows computer. Can an Android phone be used via bluetooth? I have an Iphone but can borrow an Android.

A android phone will work, but I did recieve a PM from Penner and was informed that there may be a issue and to hold off for now, that was about 5 days ago. Not sure if it is just for the 23 models, since thats what I asked him about, but im waiting to hear if it gets worked out.

Here is what I recieved from Penner

Sorry, some update.

I have talked to Tomtom from Tune-ECU and he had a good point.
There is a chance that something goes wrong while loading the map. (Low voltage, bad bluetooth connection etc)
In this case there is no OEM map yet to do a recovery and you are in trouble.
So my acvice is not to do it, until Tune-ECU has that sorted out
