Vacuum Oil Change

Tried that using my boat vacuum pump system, but couldnt get all the old oil out. The new Rocket uses a dry sump and retains much of its oil in an internal tank
and doesnt drain down fully to the pan like a wet sump bike does. I threw out the hex drain plugs and replaced them with magnetic drain plugs with a regular bolt head.
The size is 14x1.5
Much easier to remove the plugs now with a wrench instead of the hex wrench. Dont know if they will catch much on the magnets, but will post a pic. at my next oil change
of all three magnetic plugs to show how much if any is caught. All wet sump engines use multiple drain plugs to get all the oil out of the galleries..

My Z-51 C-7 Corvette has two drain plugs that use the same size plugs as the Rocket. DId magnets on those two also. Engines that share the clutch, drivetrain gears, and engine
with the same oil are much tougher on oil because of shearing than a regular car engine, or a Harley.
Makes sense the design makes draining better.
I wondered how this works with 3 plugs. Are all 3 sections open to each other, or separate?

Have no clue have not checked into it that far.
All three plugs drain different oil galleries in the engine. Some drain more oil than the others. A small amount stays in the bottom of the engine pan, and the rest
is in the other two partitions within the engine. Thats why doing an oil level check is a little detailed to this bike only.

That ain't Nothing special my friend. Do some research. Same on the old Rocket. Lay the bait and see who bites. Yes we are that much of a jerk.

Just curious if anyone pumps or vacuums oil for changes? Thought it might be slick, no removing 3 bolts, not that it is hard, but then no oil container to drain. Problem though would be maybe not getting all the oil, and still have filter. Anyone?
Cant really do a pump out with a vacuum device as the area where the dip stick resides doesnt contain all the oil. There are galleries, and pockets on the internals
that dont empty unless all 3 plugs are removed.. My Z-51 Corvette is a dry sump system like the rocket, and if you dont do both plugs on the Vette
it will puke out all the oil u put in over the factory spec amount. On my 9 quart system in the Vette, only 4 quarts comes out where the dipstick registers. Then if you
add another 5 or so quarts, it blows all of it out thru the pvc in the air box. What a mess.

It does not work, I pulled about 2.5 quarts out of mine with an OEM Tool vacuum system
