Curently a Goldwing
Hi guys! My name is Alex and I live in Serbia. Have been riding Honda GL1000 for 13 years. Now I am looking forward to purchase a 2011th Rocket iii Touring. The bike looks to be in very good condition, with 65k kilometers. I am well experienced in wrench ing and mechanics, just never delt with this kind of bike. How reliable they are and how much mileage is too much? And were these models made in UK or elsewhere? Thanks to all! Sorry for bad English 🙂

Greetings from Texas. The Rocket is made in the UK and is a very solid bike. The motor will go about 180k miles (another 200,000k) before you need to worry about rings, engine bearings, etc. Just maintain the bike and you'll have very little trouble.

WELCOME! new to our R3 family from Miami, Florida. I have a 2014 R3 Touring since new and she's been rock-solid. My only initial issue has been the Triumph heated grips kit I had installed. I'm on my 4th one. The first one lasted a month, the second two months... the third 5 years. First three replaced under warranty. If you go the R3 route, prepare for your new permanent grin

Welcome to the forum. They are pretty reliable, the transmissions sometimes go, but a 2011 probably already would have gone by now, if they go, they tend to go early, you either get a good one or a bad one, yours is probably good. Congratulations on your excellent English, it's much better than my Serbian. 😉

Hello Alex and welcome form Virginia. I'm not sure how long the bikes last as I only have 83K miles on my 2014 R3T so far.

Welcome from the UK.
Not abused bike will last for ages. With very little maintenance. Just look after it and enjoy. You will love it 👍
