All my riding jackets are Indian motorcycle cruiser style jackets. I thought to get a more street style jacket with all the protection just to fit the style of the R3.

Just picked up the Dainese Racing 3 Perf. jacket in White, black, Red Dainese Racing 3 Perforated Jacket - Cycle Gear, definitely not my usual color scheme but looked good on, and the wife loved it! Haven't tried it yet. Not sure if it's too aggressive for the R3.

Just curious what jackets/styles other R3 riders are wearing.

Thank you.

I picked up the Triumph Raven for both myself and my wife. Apparently they are discontinuing so I was able to get a good deal.

This is one hell of a jacket! Excellent quality, fit and protection. Plus looks the part.

I have more bike jackets than I do motorcycles including 3 Dainese 72 leather and 2 Dainese textile jackets (perforated and solid) - thanks to all the great sales at Motorcycle Gear. At this point in my life I really don't care so much anymore about things being "right", although I really used to do so. Now I just do what I want but I know what you mean about also looking the part (and I definitely mean that in a good sense). I am particularly fond of the Dainese brand, the way they fit and their consistently outstanding quality but I also have other cruiser jackets and then some touring jackets that I wear with my other bikes or on the R3 GT when it is cold...

Years ago my daughters asked me why I don't have specific MC brand leather jackets and I told them I am not brand specific nor loyal to any brand. I told them someday I might get a big piece of velcro put on a jacket and then just put on a patch of whatever brand I'm riding that day... 😁 But that still hasn't happened to date!

I like the Raven a lot but out of stock on their website.

Wasn't really looking the part. But wanted more protection given the bike's different more aggressive riding style. Never cared for any specific brand as long as it fits and looks good (to me).
Just not sure that a racing style jacket like the Racing 3 would be comfortable riding the R3 which is mostly upright riding as opposed to the sports bikes tucked position.
