Recon Day 3 Trip Report

I stayed at Amber Sky Hotel in Uvalde as the wind was really gusty.

It is really decent for being the cheapest place around at $50 and only 2 guests here.

Uvalde is 40 miles south of Leakey and lots of hotels, Walmart, fast food etc.

Route:
East on 90 -
North on 187 to Utopia. Not the best road.

East on 470 to Bandera - this is a wonderful ride with twisties & elevation but the road is kind of rough.
This is a must-do town to visit. Tons of bars, BBQ joints, museums, shopping for the broads etc.

North on 173 to Kerrville - this section is in almost perfect condition.
Look for exotic African animals in the tall-fence farms.

I 10 West to Rt41 75MPH posted but that seems like just a suggestion...
41 is in really good condition & decent flat Texas scenery.

South on 336 to Leakey. I aired down a few pounds and moved shocks to '3' so this Sister didn't bite me as bad as she did yesterday.

South on 83 back to Uvalde. Excellent pavement and vistas.

I wonder if this is covered in my extended warranty maybe there is a upgrade kit for it.

There is most definitely an upgrade kit. You will need the master mechanic to install. He will clean up all the dirt and excess baggage we carry around. Then when at just the right time He will give us a new frame and paint job with a new engine that will never fail.

Being in Canada it has always been a desire of mine to ride in Texas. I've been to Texarkana. It would be so good to meet up.

Thanks bud but right now laying in this hospit bed and its five feet to the head then I have to sit down before I hit the floor. We'll see what goes on when they get in my heart. The Ech showed one part not pumping like it should. I dropped 23 lbs. The last couple weeks. I will keep you posted. On the positive note I don't think this place has any ugly nurses

Don't do that... bumps and bruises, but you will be fine. It'll take effort but you can make Leakey
