Anyone have any experience with a keyless ignition system, other than the DeCosse system? The only other one I have come across is the Digital Dawg system. Of those two from what I have read I would prefer the DeCosse but unfortunately he is not producing these at this time. Me being impatient when it comes to making changes on Edsel want to move along with this project. Is there another system available? Any input would be appreciated

Horse; I have a Dacosse system with a pig tail got an 07 Classic. If you are interested i can take some pics and we can ask Decosse how to fit it to you bike. It works. Tried It and took it off years ago. Sitting in a box.

You’ve piqued my interest.
Ken please chime in at any time.

Changed my mind over the Keyless. If my original switch were to fail, this gear will revive the bike with a tank lift. Sorry.
My bike developed the runaway idle problem after removing the snorkel and installing the Keyless. 2014.
After 2 TPS, 1 MAP, several lube jobs, many miles with throttle issues, During Leaky rally 2019, Mufasa cured the problem during by disconnecting the the stepper motor and removing the throttle butterflies. Later, I took off the stepper motor control arm and reconnected the stepper motor. Bike has been well since. Have not replaced the keyless. That's why it's stored.

I've done very similar to his, but did mine building a complete T-harness instead of splicing so if there ever is an issue, I can use the key OR the FOB, and if I need to remove the system all together and revert back to stock, just disconnect the T and done. Using an RFID key FOB and a few relays and it operates just like stock. Just flip the kill switch to run, pull in the clutch and hit the starter.
