Hi Guys
For your amusement I am posting some pics of my Rocket sidecar build here. I started last week with building a sub frame that the car will mount to. The sidecar is one that I built 3 years ago, and is currently attached to my 2002 Moto Guzzi EV.

First thing I had to do was make a new axle out of some 20 mm stock

Then on to the sub frame....part 1

Here is everything mounted, along with a leading link front end, that I also built.

The most time consuming is aligning the mounts for the brake calipers, and of course I have ordered longer brake lines.

Here's what it looked like before painting and installation.

Still have a lot to do before mounting the car........will keep you posted if anyone is interested.

Am envious of those who can weld. Love seeing the photos of your progress.

On my R3 sidecar rig, tried the Progressive 444 rear shocks with their heavy duty springs. Were not stiff enough, so ordered a pair from EPM that are perfect.
Are you building the rig in Texas or Idaho? I'm in NW Houston area.

Thanks for all the kind words.
CCjon......I am in Red Rock, near Bastrop Tx for the winter. I followed your build on the adv forum. Just saw where the rally in Mena is on for this summer.
I need to register and contact the campground.
I think I have a pretty new set of progressives that came on the bike, but yes I may have to switch them out for something else. I like the Hagons, but the best American
rep for them , Dave Quinn, passed away last year. He would build anything you needed.
Will keep updating as progress allows................Tim

Toolittletime,
Mate, this looks really good.
Always good to see someone doing it themselves, your work is impressive.
Please keep the photos coming, as time allows!
