I forgot to do it when on the dyno a few months back.. the short limit might be because air flows better through the throttles at like 95% than 100%, and fingering the actual throttle arm to get 100% might knock a few hp off the reading.... or, maybe it will actually improve peak power, give you like 2hp more than just with the handlebar grip... only way to know is to do a back to back comparison on the dyno.
Please do it when you get to the dyno!
@Kevin frazier so just to further illustrate the 0% throttle thing, I ran an ISCV reset just now but didn't touch the TPS or idle stepper, or throttle. Just accepted the as found 0.60v and 0.72v.
And BOOM, 0% throttle closed but 94% WOT.

Thanks that was blowing tuners mind wanting to know why it was doing that but after splaining what i read from you and decosse he moved on to wanting to know what the numbers were on the tables and i read him alain answer to you i had found when i found this old thread, learning digging, thanks man
Incredible response from Alain at TuneECU - he has re-incorporated the Throttle Position & Speed on MapEdit screen in the latest update of Android!
Very nice to have this feature again - amazing support!
I only use the windows version on Rockets, mainly because it is a pita to use puny tablets on the dyno. Having said that the L tables should not have TP surely as they are MAP based??
Well yeah, wouldn't require TPS value of course
But how do you actually go about tuning the L-tables - I've never done that, but imagine you can't just set throttle to give you a specific MAP reading because that will change as the RPM changes
But if you think it would be an advantage @R-III-R Turbo to have maybe you could ask Alain if he could similarly adopt MAP and RPM on the L tables axes? I've done my bit, your turn
As you can see he's pretty accommodating so maybe he can add that too
Yes, or as the 2.3 rockets will never be up graded, I can just keep using the PC software . I do use the android version on other bikes, so when I get a chance I shall have a look at the suggestions more closely. It needs to be quick and easy for me, mainly because customers are constantly complaining of the cost.
