Anyone got any experience with Custom Silencers / TORS? I'd like to modify the sound of my RT3, been searching the usual places, but to no avail, any custom makers out there?

Thanks
Nigel

I liked my TORS on the 2010 R3T. Sounded great. Not too loud. Motor wasn't very strong, stock tune and air cleaner.
Pulled motor out of it, put it in my 2007 Standard,PC5, RamAir, Jardines, and my buddy's hand at the tune @warp9.9 ( and exhaust install ). I can't believe it's the same motor. Feels like it went from a 13 second bike to a low 11. Big change. I still have the TORS, but if it were me again, I would go with the header, and move near Scott

I have TORS and like them a great deal. They are plenty loud but if you want a huge increase in power go with Paul Bryant. If I wasn't getting the 2020 Rocket I would already have his Viking pipe system on my 2014 Rocket.

Pauls pipes are a work of art, but if you want all the power you can get then carpenter is the pipe you need but they do look like an ugly red-headed stepchild next to Pauls exhaust

For the quick change there is just a tune for the Touring can open up 30 horsepower. You can download it using TuneECU. And not a fortune to do is change your air intake to a RamAir filter then get either TORs or D&D slip on or any other slip on you like. And of course another re-tune from one of the canned tunes on TuneECU. So adding the intake and exhaust can really wake up your bike.

Now if money is not a problem then dyno tune, and a full system from any of these will give you all the power you can get.

LMS full system
CES full system
Paul Bryant full system
Carpenter full system
Dain slip on
Dave Platt slip on
D&D slip on
TORs slip on
Others I can't think of now. Search the forum.
