2020 Triumph Rocket 3 Fender Eliminator

I actually think Triumph listened to all of us guys who owned the original Rocket and Roadster. My son used to be involved in Market Research. While he was in university, as a part time job he was paid (and quite well I might add) to read assigned forums/articles and record any positive or negative points regarding the product in question. A number of students were doing this kind of work for different companies. It looks like Triumph did their homework and have listened to the masses.

Some of the things they have addressed with the new bike which may have been complaints on the old:

1. Larger displacement (gotta be the biggest)
2. Excellent handling
3. Good looking unit (doesn't look like a tractor as Lamonster stated)
4. Excellent fit, finish and form (minimize plastic, passenger pegs hidden, led turn signals)
5. Power
6. Transmission quality (bevel cut gears are generally considered to be better but are more expensive)
7. A 6th gear
8. Electronics (some want more???)
9. LED headlights (I hope these put out more light than the older units.... Haven't heard how good they are yet)

Again, most of us older model riders probably didn't think these were concerns but the fellows new to Triumph seem to have.

If you want to know what people think of your ride, read some of the non Triumph forums for honest reviews. Remember, we're biased.... :)

I take that as a personal attack on me:eek: I am in no way biased --as long as they ride a Triumph I will talk to them:D

After purchasing my 2016 Roadster new, I got an email from Triumph asking to partake in a survey.
Questions such as you mention were in that survey...
I am positive Triumph take these surveys seriously and pursue these requests from riders in order to retain them as clients as well as scoop a few more in from the fringes..good stuff Triumph!.

I must say that old rocket didn't appeal to me in the looks department, my 109 was far more pretty to look at with all the mods.
By the time it grew on me, new rocket came out and it was just nicer to look at and I really wanted it :)
However I did ride a 2017-2018 R morel and it was a great handling bike.

Just got the prototype bracket for the plate relocation/fender eliminator. Changing oil now and then I'll test fit this.
