Installed the siganl minder Model SM-1 ( They sent wrong flasher first time, and promptly sent the right one with return envelpoe for wrong one )( This is a flasher that shuts your blinkers off after a pre-set amount of 10 - 20 -30 flashes ) You can also hook up a simple wire to taillight to delay the flashes if your brake is on at a light ) Didn't do the handlebar switch modifications yet. Also bought from kisan Electronics, their Tailbalzer Blub. I am happy with both installs , pretty easy. All wire are accessable under cover where seat key release is. Now for the tricky part. I also oredered 1156 L E D replacement bulbs for rear blinkers. Changed bulbs and they flashed too fast ( No resistance from LED ) so I wired 2 large 8 ohm 20 watt resisters in series and they work fine. By the way this was all on a 2011 Rocket Roadster.

It's odd how the same bike ('11 Roadster) and same accessory produce different results. I have the Kisan and installed LEDs in the turn signals, but did not experience the rapid flashing. I took my handlebar switch apart and would NOT recommend it. Here's a related link...
Blinker Cancel / Running Lights / Flashing Brake

I used Leds from SuperBrites
LED Lights, Bulbs & LED Lighting Accessories | superbrightleds.com

2 67-A12-G-2PK: Amber - 2 Pack $13.90
1 1157-R27-T: Red $9.95 (tail light)

I read somewhere that you want to use amber colored LEDs, even if your lenses are amber. Otherwise, it will be too white.

As you may recall we corresponded about this and am glad I followed your advice, especially about leaving the handlebar turn switch alone. Poking that hornet nest is completely unnecessary. I did have one negative experience with the SuperBright LED tail/brake light bulb. I don't know if it is defective or not. As a running light it is adequate but the brake light output is so minimal in brightness that it can't be seen in daylight. I had to return to the OEM bulb. The SuperBright turn bulbs work fine.
