Hello. I'm Kenny from the Denver area. Been riding over 30 years. My first vehicle I bought when I was 17 was a Suzuki GS750. Since I've had a Kawasaki Vulcan 750, Kawasaki Vulcan Meanstreak 1600, 2014 Rocket 3 Roadster, 2018 Honda Goldwing DCT, and we just got a new 2020 Rocket 3 GT. Of course two days after I got it home it's been snowing on and off since so it's just sitting in the garage...

When my wife and I both drive she rides the Goldwing because she can just leave it in automatic. Also the 2014 Roadster was too big and heavy for her. We also do two up rides especially on longer trips. We like to do mountain rides and day trips and when we camp we'll take a bike in the camper to wherever we are going and do rides there. I started to keep a log of all the mountain passes we've ridden over but at some point I lost track. There are just so many here.

I am having a little buyers remorse about the new GT but I think that will subside once I can actually ride it. From the 50 miles I have on it so far it's definitely much smoother and nimble vs the Roadster. The 150 lb or so weight loss really helps. They've compacted it just a bit so it fits me better as well. Key for a short person. It's really nice to have the little luxuries too like cruise, heated grips, TFT screen with all the info you could ever need. I haven't had a chance to put the traction control and cornering ABS to test yet but once we get a break and some melting I will.

Guess that's plenty. Nice to meet everyone.

Welcome from Christchurch New Zealand Kenny, nice intro.....
I think the buyers remorse is very natural but i guess as the miles go under the wheels that will dissolve....air in the lungs....power under your arse....cornering ability......you'll get home and park it in the shed and grin at it!!...Enjoy brutha!

Hey dude... I did the same thing this weekend. And I felt a little weird about buying a big-ticket bike like this. But having put a few miles in some spring weather we are getting here in Norcal on my backroads... I have to say... it's even better than I expected... handles like a nimble sporty cruiser (I ride a T140 as well), and is just flat out awesome. when that snow melts and you hit those twisties your remorse will melt along with the snow.... i guarantee this.

For what reasons would you be having buyers remorse? Did you think you spent more money than you should have?:D

Hello Kenney and welcome from Virginia. Be careful west of Sedalia on Hwy 67, the mountain will reach out and smack you off your bike. I saw it with my own eyes...

WELCOME! Awesome that your wife rides with you... as does mine...:D
