A lot of chatter about ram air lately, so I wanted to share this tidbit. We all know that the ramair is a great product, when you use there products to clean and oil they stay like new, they clean up all that plumbing and open up air box for storage. But what I wanted to pass along there customer service is outstanding, when I’ve ordered the 15 dollar cleaning kit boom out the door quick across the water. But I just had an experience where I reached out for a wire harness as I may be trying big pods and they have sent one out free! Now in this day and time that kind of customer service I don’t see often. So for all those thinking about ramair as so many of us here on the forum have, go for it, great product great company.

Thumbs up from me as well!

I ordered a air filter cleaning kit from them on eBay. It took a while to get to Texas from the UK, but when it arrived, the cap for the cleaner was a little loose and leaked inside the bag, covering the gloves they include.
I sent them a message through eBay and they sent me a completely new kit for free! I wasn't expecting a replacement, just wanted to let them know that the bottle leaked a bit.

It's about time for me to clean up my filter.

So will order the kit and get it shipped NZ

Don't know why I didn't order it at the time of buying filter.

Especially as at one time you got free Intl shipping for the lot with filter kit when you did order the $12 kit.

And as we are waxing so lyrically. But with apologies to Walt.;):D

HALCYON DAYS.

Not from successful love alone,
Nor wealth, nor honor'd middle age, nor victories of politics or
war;
But as life wanes, and all the turbulent passions calm,
As gorgeous, vapory, silent hues cover the evening sky,
As softness, fulness, rest, suffuse the frame, like freshier, balmier
air,
As the days take on a mellower light, and the apple at last hangs
really finish'd and indolent-ripe on the tree,
Then for the teeming quietest, happiest days of all!
The brooding and blissful halcyon days!

So rowse the chattering roar and let your RamAir resonate,
To loose a million crickets
and split such reverie asunder,
Embrace the fast enveloping night
'Cause were all gunna spend a hell of a long time down under!

I installed ramair recently.....the sound makes you high....every ride ends with wanting more miles.....loved it so much that put the decal on the claw....

but today when open the claw for some other service....found the rear side of the foam squished a bit due to claw pressing it down....pic attached....

does anyone experienced this or it’s only me putting the claw wrong??? Does it affect the performance in long term anyhow????

Also, after how long should I start thinking about cleaning it and order the cleaning supply?

thanks,
Wajhi

I have had mine on for two years and has the same dent in it so nothing to worry about.
