Canceled my 2020 R3 TFC and .....

sitting them side by side, the R model and the TFC have very similar lines....
i too prefer the GT.

To be fair , the TFC looks a different beast to the standard production runs , More so than the Rocket X did to it's counterparts , and whenever you saw one , you couldn't help but check out the number and look for the comparisons . Weather the TFC is released before , during or after the standard production machines , fact remains , it's still a TFC and is always going to be worth more and attract more attention , if that's what floats your boat ? it's a privelledge you have to pay for . That said , I have seen at least 1 TFC appear on eBay, so your not alone in your decision !

How much more was the Rocket X compared to the Roadster? Not much. Granted, the only real change was the custom paint job, unique number designation, included flyscreen and removed pillion seat, plus a lot of blacked out parts which could be purchased for your Roadster. It wasn't priced in the stratosphere making it desirable.

Now compare the TFC to a standard GT or R. Is it worth $8,000 more? The TFC has 20 more hp, a lot of carbon fiber parts, unique number designation and includes several options as standard (I think) for example the quick shifter, bluetooth, heated grips, cruise control (someone correct me?) but doesn't come with the GT flyscreen. Because of this big price difference, I thought the GT and R would have lower spec brakes, shocks and fewer options but they get Brembos all around and cruise control too, heated grips and flyscreen (GT), great fitting parts etc etc with no hint of any lower spec parts, for substantially less. Granted the TFC carbon parts/tune cannot be purchased/installed on the standard models making it more unique but is it worth that much more?

If I had the cash, I'd buy both.... so I guess I answered my own question.

Tonight is the "premier" in Alb. got tickets to go leaving for the 3 hour trip a little later asked my wife for the phone # and the security code for the bank to run credit check she asked why told her how am I going to get a loan for the new bike?,oh I need help loading up trailer to bring bike home also since I am going down there and back myself thats when the little giggle turned serious

I was shaking like a leaf on a tree and hoping for the best;did"nt happen
