I have been using Mobile 1, but I watched a video on Youtube comparing motor oils and Amsoil came out significantly better than Mobil.
The guy that does the testing tests all sorts of things and is quite good at it.

The Manual recommends Mobile, but that video was impressive, to say the least.
Next oil change I might just go to the Amsoil. I have already converted to K&N Oil Filters.

The only caveat is he compared oil for car engines and not motorcycle specific oils.

Maybe I'll send him a note and see if he will test motorcycle oil. He takes a lot of suggestions.

Amsoil is great oil you can’t go wrong with that and a lot of people swear by Mobil 1
 
I am just gonna put this out there. Castrol 5W 40 full synthetic......and go!

My choice right there.

No one has thrown out the "it's lifeblood" crap. "I paid a lot for this bike I won't go cheap on oil" "My bike deserves the best"
This site is no fun for oil threads. Come on ramp it up!!
