Clutch adjustment/issue

Search Amazon, can't post a link here, but I have a Barnett kit in one of my 05's, and I believe I have another kit waiting to go into another 05. Do some research on the "judder spring"

Sorry Cootertwo, not with you, what am I looking for and why?

edit, got you, nothing on UK amazon but is when I look on the USA amazon

The Barnett complete clutch kit would be the one for me - plenty on eBay.

Which ever one you go for just make sure you soak the frictions in new engine oil for a few hours before you assemble the clutch pack, do not assemble dry.

At least you confirmed the issue, just a matter of putting her all back together once you get the parts, well done.

thanks for the pointer.

can you to change just one plate then? Could do without replacing 8 because one is goosed

I would do the full kit replacement brother with the thing standing for so long the fibres will be weak and powdery and will start falling apart once you start working it hard. Don't take a chance on it, you have gone this far just bite the bullet.

Question, if I fit the Barnett kit with uprated springs will it make the clutch a lot heavier to pull in? I have a problem with my left wrist and a heavier clutch would make it worse or possibly un-rideable.

If it does, would a set of EBC Friction Plates do the job or are they cheap tat? Seems to be the only option here in the UK other than paying through the nose for Triumph OEM plates.

I have Carpenter heavy duty springs, it's been 6 years, but I don't remember noticing appreciably harder clutch pull, and I think they are the stiffest ones out there.
