Drying the bike after washing

Not to getting too far off subject, but one of my old Sportsters has been under cover for a couple years. The aluminum/mag ? spoke wheels are covered with white, spots of corrosion. I'm hoping the pressure washer will knock it off. Haven't tried yet.

0000 steel wool with the cleaner of your choice works super for cleaning wheels.
Grow that beard back, Amigo!
I always liked your barba! It was inspiration for growing mine out.

My drying weapon of choice, followed by a soft cotton towel, to wipe off water marks!
The battery blower seems to have just the rite amount of blow.

This is the one I have

($228 on Amazon - this site does weird things to an Amazon link or I would post, so just search for it)

I really love that thing - it has really good high power blast (actually more than my Echo gas-powered one) and the convenience of a cable-free, gas-free device is just fabulous.

The charge lasts a good 20 mins or so - if needs to be recharged to finish up the job, it actually recharges quite rapidly .

Just be careful when purchasing a battery powered one - they are not all created equally and there is HUGE variance in both the air-flow and battery-charge life, so research carefully. But I would definitely give this one a strong recommendation as a good balance of power and value.

I always use a clean absorbent towel.
Does a better job than any blower because it provides a second opportunity to clean and buff any missed or stubborn dirty spots missed by the initial wash.
A blower with not do that. JMHO

+1 on the steel wool. That's what I've used for years. A steel brush will scratch the wheel.

On bike drying I used my $20 Toro electric leaf blower until I bought the 56V EGO like in the video
