Looking for Battery Experts

I'm curious since your where there is no winter to speak of except the dates are you having problems ? I run two batteries the equal 920cca so I've never tried the newer styles which some are lithium. I use a 320 cca standard battery. And a 600 cca lithium ferrous . The lithium is just anout 10 years old and no I do notknow how long it last but being pricey I'm down to about 50 bucks a year on it now. I suspect a Spaniard with a lot of battery knowledge will be along shortly :)
You called an Englishman a Spaniard and he did not curse you out:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: WTF is this World coming to.:D

Stock battery for the Rocket is in the neighborhood if 310CCA. Starting to see other batteries with the same dimensions and terminal +/- orientation in the 500CCA range. Can a person go with these batteries or is there some hidden risks? All are 12V, but some have more amperage to draw on if needed. Thoughts??

I do mot reckon the OEM are over 300 CCA.
Where are these 500CCA batteries?

Geeze @1olbull Do you forget the thread barely a month ago where this was discussed ad nauseum, and the cognoscenti shared that 310 or so was probably real, and claims over that were hype and risky at being suitable for our Rockets.

Was the OP's comment in the old thread?
My response was to the OP's comments - not to the thread.
I believe there is no 310 CCA on an OEM battery & that is what I inquired about.
Also, I'd like to learn of 500+ available batteries.

The question was well answered in the previous thread, both for the OP and for availability of other batteries.

The consensus is there are labels claiming greater than - with no credible independent test results to back the claims.

OK there, fiesty.
If it addressed CCA of an OEM battery AND if it named 500+ CCA batteries, please point me to the thread title and I'll re visit.
